Anzac day 2017 ephesus trooper - budget tour
Day 1 Monday 24th April
Istanbul to Gallipoli
Morning departure to the WW1 battlefields of Gallipoli stopping along the way to stock up on supplies and rations. Once we arrive at the Gallipoli Peninsula we head straight to Anzac Cove to secure a good spot on the grass for the long night ahead.
Day 2 Tuesday 25th April
ANZAC Day at Gallipoli
Awake before sun rise for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service. We become aware of the almost deafening silence as the moving service to commemorate our fallen forefathers on this special day begins. You will then have the chance to visit Chunuk Bair to attend the New Zealand Memorial Service. Unfortunately the Australian service at the Lone Pine memorial has been cancelled. Late afternoon you will meet up with the Fez Bus again to head to the small town of Ayvalik for some well deserved sleep.

Day 3Wednesday 26th April
Pergamum to Kusadasi
This morning, you head south along the Aegean Coast towards Kusadasi, stopping along the way at the ancient city of Pergamum for a guided tour and the opportunity to check out some local Turkish handicrafts.

Day 4 Thursday 27th April
Kusadasi
Absorb yourself in history this morning with a tour of Ephesus, the former capital of Asia Minor and the best-preserved ancient city in Turkey, and one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the site of the Temple of Artemis, or spend the day relaxing on an Aegean Beach.

Day 5 Friday 28th April
Kusadasi
After breakfast our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends(B)
