Istanbul five days
DAY 01 HOME / ISTANBUL
PM: Arrival late in the afternoon. Welcome and assistance with airport formalities. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner
DAY 02 ISTANBUL
AM: Depart for a city tour; visiting the Hippodrome the Blue Mosque, St Sophia and Topkapi Palace. Lunch at the Palace Grounds Restaurant with a view over the city the Sea of Marmara and the Princess Islands.
PM: Continuation of the Palace visit, including sections of the Kitchens the Audience Chamber the Sultans Costumes the Treasury and the Baghdad Kiosk. The day will be concluded by a visit to the Grand Bazaar where there will be ample time for shopping. Dinner at one of the selected restaurants along the coast of the Bosphorus
DAY 03 ISTANBUL
AM: Depart for an excursion along the Bosphorus by boat, with several stops on both the Asian and European coasts. Proceed by coach to Sariyer the residential area close to where the Bosphorus joins the Black Sea. Lunch at a local Restaurant.
PM: Across the Bosphorus Bridge, an excursion to the Asian Section of the city. A brief stop for Turkish tea or coffee on (lamlica Hill with a magnificent view of Istanbul. Return to the hotel via ancient Istanbul; Uskudar (Scutari). Dinner in the hotel
DAY 04 ISTANBUL
Free in Istanbul on half board basis. Possibility of optional excursions to the Princes Islands or Bursa the first Capital of the Ottoman Empire.
DAY 05 ISTANBUL / HOME
AM: Transfer to the airport. Assistance with airport formalities.
